Kelham Island 1940's vintage day.

Hello! A bit of a different one from me. I went to the most amazing 1940's vintage weekend event at Kelham Island in Sheffield. (Unfortunatly I only went the Sunday as me and my friend didn't know about it until late Saturday night) it was outfit crisis for me! As I was at her house and couldn't decide what to wear! Hehe, finally found my amazing 40's dress out. Luckily for me I wear a lot of vintage clothing already.

It was so amazing stepping back in time, the stalls were so quaint and beautiful. The food stalls were so cute and it all looked so amazing. We also went into the afternoon tea dance (as you can see in the pictures above) there were so many beautiful, fashionable older ladies in there.

I really wish I could do this everyday, it was such an amazing experience. The weather was amazing, I even got a little burnt!

Last but not least the music was so good, original vintage tracks like Vera Lynn. (I love her what a beauty) I can't wait until the next one.

Practical Magic...

I wish the weather was always this way in England, clear skies and warm breezes. It won't last and hasn't to be honest, right now I'm sat blogging with the rain dripping down burning my incense. Forever a hippy at heart, there's nothing more relaxing.

Lately I am channelling my inner free spirit, wardrobe included. I am obsessing over light weight knitted fabrics, lace and washed denim. 

This outfit, is pretty much my staple wardrobe at the moment. 

This lovely simple yet effective bandeau top came from a new and upcoming company, called 'The Fashion Rail', I am predicting huge things for them. As the stock they sell is reasonably priced, bang on trend and good quality.

Definitely one to watch out for ladies!

Probably one or two years ago I wouldn't have stepped outside wearing what I am right now, but life is all about finding yourself and enjoying being your true self. Even if this means cars pulling up watching you have your pictures taken!

(Haha, not a lie this really happened, eeeek).

Palm springs.

Soo sorry I haven't blogged in so long :( sad times. I have been super busy with work and then I was poorly and blah blah, hello!

I am back, I am absolutely loving palm tree prints at the moment. This little cami top I am wearing is a whooping £4 and one of my new favourites.

Perfect for tucking into a pair of high waisted skinny joni jeans. I haven't worn my fedora hat for a while so I thought I would welcome him back into my life <3

I was feeling super casual today, so I opted for the over sized blazer (which is a size 14 to make it nice and oversized like a duster jacket) and chelsea boots. 

Please excuse my scraggy hair, dry shampoo was my best friend today, after bossing a carboot at like 6 in the morning... Zzzz.

Monochrome - Crisp white.

Trend of days is Lovin'...

Monochrome.

I decided to do a post featured around these amazing heels from The Fashion Rail.

Chunky heels are hot this season, I'm not usually into white shoes/accesories but lately I have been lusting after them like you wouldn't know... My opinions have changed when putting together this monochrome outfit. I am sold on the crisp white trend.

I think I am going to be really naughty and buy a dust coat, oops. I totally don't need one but the more I style them in posts, the more I convince myself I need one!

Five pound fashion.

Is there anything better than nice weather in England!? When I woke up this morning and saw the clear blue skies, I was raring to blog my new monochrome mesh sleeve top.

I am a sucker for a good statement piece in my wardrobe, so this top suits my style perfectly, black and white bold pieces are pretty much timeless and seem to match almost everything in my wardrobe...

However with the weather being nice, I decided to add a blue wash denim to this look, to lighten the outfit and get myself ready for summer.

When I received this top, I really liked the fact that it wasn't see through and is long enough to cover my bum in a pair of leggings, which in my eyes is always a bonus. This adds more options when choosing what to style items with.

This is definately going into the new favourites pile of clothes ;)...
