Re-spinning my sports vest.

Wearing your gym clothes on the high street? Wearing trainers with a high trend skirt?
Two things that this time last year I would have been horrified to hear.
Now look at me!
I mean this outfit is so comfortable and screams chic' even though I'm wearing a sports top and my trusty new (super comfy) Nike Roshe Runs.
I am a changed woman, I have seen a few fashion bloggers wearing 'gym' wear as 'everyday' wear and absolutely love it. So I thought it was time to brave this new craze...

The Ankle Grazer.

Flicking through the pages of Look magazine, a picture of Daisy Lowe caught my eye. She was wearing a 'ankle grazer length' skirt with heels. I absolutely loved the look, to my absolute amazement I managed to pick a similar skirt up in Primark for just ten pounds!!
I decided to give the skirt a test drive today, pairing it with my new Topshop 'Lenka' heels...
The cute panda bag I have is actually a tablet/Ipad case from Primark.. oops. He looks better as a clutch!!

I am a sucker for a good monochrome outfit, it's a trend I will always love and is such a versatile trend to follow, as you can always mix and match the black and white tones.

Will you be rocking the ankle grazer this season?

Blackmilk - Swimwear worn as outerwear.

How pretty is this little flower patch I found in my garden...
I am loving this summer sunshine, I like it even more when I actually have three days off to enjoy it.
I thought I would post about my amazing Mogwaii bodysuit, being as though I mentioned it in my last post (6 swimwear must haves right now!).
What a little cutie this swimsuit is! I don't think I would wear it for swimming in, more for styling up summer outfits and sunbathing in, however it can be worn for swimming!
I have had this skater skirt for a while, but it matches absolutely everything and is so easy to wear. I love the studded waistband detail.
The sandals compliment the colours with in the bodysuit perfectly, I have a little obsesseion with styling sandals and socks lately.
I haven't worn my trusty fedora hat for a few posts now, so I thought it was time for a come back :)

Fedora hat: Primark.
Choker: Shopmoonchild.
Bodysuit: Blackmilk clothing.
Skirt: Ark clothing.
Socks: Topshop.
Sandals: Primark.

Happy Friday!

6 swimwear must haves right now!

I can't even tell you how much I needed this in my life, when I saw the preview of the Halloween collection. Okay, so this bodysuit/swimsuit has actaually sold out now. But thanks to the trusty internet (Ebay, Depop & Blackmilk buy, swap, sell page you might still be able to get you're hands on one of these!
Mogwai bodysuit - $85 Black milk clothing.

I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful this bikini is!
I found it when I was having a nosey on Ebay. So sexy yet sophisticated.
Hopefully when this bikini comes (I've ordered it) it looks like this on me!
(HA I wish)! This was another must have. My fave colour and has a touch
of grunge to it :).
Ebay £20 (Can be found cheaper when on auction, I got mine for £7) I typed in 'black high waist slash bikini'.

The colour of this bikini is amazing! I bet it will look great with a tan. This is a replica of a River Island/Triangl swimwear bikini and one of the cheapest on the market.
I love the black detail on the set, it would tie in great with a black long kimono!
This is a definite must have for me!
The Fashion Rail - £20.

This swimsuit just screams summer! I'm not usually one to brave the 'no cups' style swimwear, but this is so beautiful I think I could force myself to be brave. The pattern is so eye catching which compliments the cute low back to this suit.
Get in my life!
Motel Rocks - £39

I have been lusting after one of these for ages! Then I see this, pure amazingness.. Okay so that's not a real word but what else describes the beauty!? I love the fabric and the colour contrast going on here.
This is definately my favourite piece off of the website. I bet it looks so nice reflecting the sunshine <3
Triangl swimwear - $79
Good trusty old Topshop had to be part of this post! I keep looking at this little beauty in the store.
I love how retro this piece looks, the polka dot, the pastel shades.. I am sold!
Get ready to turn heads in this pretty piece.
Topshop - £36

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments below which is your fave piece.
Now all I need is my passport to hurry back!!

Happy Monday (Urgh)

Topshop mini haul.

1. I just cannot decide if these are hideous or cute? So after weeks of looking at other bloggers/celebs wearing them. I decided to get myself a pair. I went and got myself white for a change! I think they'll look crisp and bang on trend with my new light wash jeans this Summer.
(Can I add I hate feet, so this is huuge for me)! Hehe.

2. Speaking of the amazing jeans I bought, these are the 'Leigh' jeans from Topshop. Possibly the first time in years I have worn low rise jeans, which are a light colour! I love how soft these are, the rips in the knees and the frayed bottoms really add that grunge factor to any outfit.

3. I am hugely obsessed with the colour black and anything mesh. So this top was pretty much designed to be in my floordrobe wardrobe. I will definately be wearing this with something high waisted as it is super cropped. I love the stretch cotton material, at £12 it is such a bargain piece too.
4. 'Lenka' black chunky cleated sandals. I have been lusting after these for months! They feel mega comfy (hope they are)! I bought these because they are light for holidays, easy to wear and will match just about anything!
I was torn between buying the white or black, seen as I got white in my replica birks, I thought I'd play it safe ;)

The moral of this blog post is:
I need to stop looking on the Topshop website & buying shoes...

The £5 mesh sweater.

It'll be another nice Gothic summer for me, I seem to buy all these cute girly pieces and make them really grunge'esque.
(Do you like my new word) haha! I do love layering though, this mesh sweater is perfect for wearing as an under top, as it is see through.
If I'm not wearing it under a dress, you'll catch me styling it with a cute bralette top underneath.
What a versatile bargain piece to have in your wardrobe

I finally did it didn't I, I managed to nab myself a pair of vintage Dr.Marten boots! Happy days.
They look great for festival inspired outfits, on lazy days.
I can finally stop staring at them for hours online.

Definitely wearing my new favourite necklace too, the best friend surprised me with this little treat for my Birthday!

Necklace: Rock N' Rose.
Sweater: C/O Just for £5.
Dress: H&M.
Boots: Depop (Vintage Dr Martens)
